THE CHRISTIAN POETS SOCEITY ASSOCIATION

To be a Christian means to be Christ-like. Meaning, that when people see your life, Manners, attitudes
and works, they should know that you have been taught by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is leading
you to please God every day. To be a poet means that you write poetry, and that you have a desire to
recite it by sharing with others what you have written as the Holy Spirit gives you utterance. Now,
when we put the two words together by saying Christian Poet, it means that Jesus Christ mission of
revealing God the Father heart to the world, has become your mission, by writing the words that the
Holy Spirit has inspired you to say.
 
We are God’s poets and His poem, so God Himself is a poet as well. The words of Jesus Christ are
poetry in its highest form. The Bible as we know it, has over 50% of poetry in it. We are told to write
as Habakkuk 2:2 says. Even our tongue should be a pen of a ready writer. A Christian Poet is every
believer who believes in Jesus Christ and are being led by the Holy Spirit. Yes, we have the abilities to
write inspired poetry, God’s rhema word. We should, also have a desire to write and share what we
have seen and heard to the world. Listen, God has need of you!
 
*The problem is that people are not writing or have stop writing, or is writing but don’t know why they
are writing. We are not sharing our testimonies to the world! Maybe you just don’t have the
information, support, or outlet that would encourage future writings until now.
Whatever, your reasons maybe, don’t you love Jesus?
