God’s Poetic Voice Ministries, GPVM was founded by Prophet Gimbu “MrPoet” Mullugotta in 2013. GPVM is formed to expose/reveal by peaching the poetic words of the Bible and of God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. We teach that God loves to write books, He is a poet, we are his poem and He speaks with a poetic voice. The words and teaching methods of Jesus Christ are poetry in its highest form. (God wants us to be doers of His words. The Greek word for doers here is poietes, the pronunciation poy-ay-tace, meaning a performer, specifically a poet, a doer poet, creator, maker.)The Holy Spirit inspires all believers to hear and write down whatsoever He says through inspiration, revelation and illumination.
A Prophet means one who speaks for God especially an inspired poet. It is a ministry that does what the Holy Spirit says.

Prophet Gimbu “MrPoet” Mullugotta
My Story: Hi, I’m Prophet MrPoet and I know it. I’m a native Detroiter. I have been writing poetry for forty-three years now. I asked God to use me and to give me a gift, He choose poetry writing for His glory by speaking to me these words “WRITE A POEM…” and I’ve been writing poetry ever since.It all started in the summer of 1982, one beautiful night while I was glazing up toward heaven seeing the many stars, I prayed an earnest prayer. It was that night after lying down for to sleep, I felt
something hit me in my stomach, then it started moving up within me very slowly toward my head, filling me up, it moved to go out of my ears and stopped. Then suddenly the wind burst out of my ears like thunder and lightning putting on a show. My eyes opened, only to see a comforting bright light. I felt a peace and closed my eyes, only to appear at the throne of God… Even until this very day, I still hear that same wind blowing in my ear. John 3:8 kjv. After writing several poems, I ask God “Ok Lord, now what do you want me to do with them?” Then The Holy Spirit told me to "Go to Chicago, IL stand on the corner and pass the poem out to
whomsoever comes by…” The poem was “Jesus Loves You and I Do Too”. This is the birth of the ministry of the Christian Poet.

The mission that God has us on are:
A. Go to every church and record believer’s testimonies.
B. Put them into a book called, The Believers Anthology of World Testimonies.
C. Publish it, for a record to all future generations that God’s is alive and is still doing great works in us.
D. To fulfill John 21: 25 “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written everyone, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.” Amen.
E. To offer support and guidance so all believers in Jesus Christ can tell their stories and write their books.
F. The Spirit of the Lord instructed me to stand on the corner and give away a bottle of cold water and a
poem.

The Mission
Christian Poets Society Association is a network of Christian Poets helping each other get to where we are going. A support group to help fulfill each poet’s purposes. (My motto is that the only thing I can do for you is to help you get to where you are going.) Therefore, no poet should be a lone ranger. Eagle do fly alone, but to fellowship is iron sharping iron. We are God’s poets and His poem, so God Himself is a poet as well. The words of Jesus Christ are poetry in its highest form. The Bible as we know it, has over 50% of poetry in it. We are told to write
as (Jer. 30:2 and Habb. 2:2) says. Even our tongue should be a pen of a ready writer (Ps. 45:1). We are to be doers meaning poets of the word (James 1:22). A Christian Poet is every believer who believe in Jesus Christ and is lead by the Holy Spirit. Yes, we have the abilities to write inspired poetry, God’s rhema word. We should, also have a desire to write and share what we have seen and heard to the world (Rev. 1:19). Listen, God has need of you!
